Creator Program Terms

Draft for review, not yet in effect

This is a plain-English draft that is still being reviewed and may change. Nothing on this page applies to you or to us until a version is published here, and nothing counts under the Program until you accept that version.

Contents (17 sections)

1.About these terms

These Creator Program Terms (the "Program Terms") cover the CamSite.me Creator Program (the "Program"). "We", "us" and "CamSite.me" mean the operator of CamSite.me. "You" means the creator taking part.

The Program Terms add to the CamSite.me Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If they conflict on anything about the Program, the Program Terms win.

2.Who can take part

You can take part only while all of these are true:

  • You are at least 18 years old, and an adult where you live.
  • We have approved your application for at least one track.
  • We have reviewed and approved your government photo ID.
  • You have one CamSite.me account. One person, one account.
  • You do not live in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk or Luhansk, or in any other country or region under comprehensive sanctions, and the law does not bar us from paying you.
  • You are not a member of CamSite.me staff.

We decide applications at our discretion and may ask you for more information. If we reject an application, you may apply again 30 days after our decision.

3.The two tracks

Live counts verified-live time you broadcast on CamSite.me. Drops counts photo and video posts our moderators approve. You can apply for one track or both, and we approve each track separately.

4.When counting starts

Nothing counts until all of these are true at the time of the activity:

  • The Program is open and counting for that track is switched on.
  • Your track is approved.
  • Your ID is approved.
  • You have accepted the current published version of these Program Terms.

Activity from before that point does not count and is never counted later.

5.How Live time is counted

  • We count verified-live minutes: minutes in which our live video service reports your CamSite.me broadcast as live. Time a page is open, time in a room on another site, and time without a live broadcast do not count.
  • A session counts only once it reaches 60 minutes of verified-live time. Then every verified-live minute in it counts, including the first 60 minutes.
  • A short interruption does not end a session. A longer break ends it, and your next broadcast starts a new session.
  • The rate is US$20 per hour, counted by the minute.
  • At most 4 hours count per day. Days run from midnight to midnight UTC.
  • At most 20 hours count in total, for life.
  • A broadcast our moderators reject counts nothing.

6.How Drops are counted

  • A drop is one photo or video item you upload to your Studio after your Drops track is approved and you have accepted these Program Terms.
  • A drop counts only if our moderators approve it, it is not a draft, it is not deleted, and it meets the quality floor: photos at least 720 pixels on the short side, videos at least 20 seconds long.
  • Eligible drops are counted in the order you uploaded them, at most one per day (UTC), so a batch counts over several days.
  • At most 10 drops count in total, for life.
  • The rate is US$5 per counted drop. Prices, tips and sales on your content are separate from the Program.

7.Launch budgets

Each track has a launch budget, currently US$2,500 for Live and US$1,000 for Drops. Counting for a track stops when its budget is used up. We may add to a budget, or not, at our choice. Anything counted before a budget ran out stays counted, unless it is voided under section 8.

8.Review window and voiding

Every counted session and drop has a review window of 7 days from when it was counted.

  • We may void a counted Live session within its review window if it breaks these Program Terms.
  • A counted drop that is removed, rejected or turned back into a draft within its review window is uncounted. Its place in your lifetime limit stays used, so deleting and reposting does not earn more.
  • Voided and uncounted items are not paid. If we find fraud, we may void the affected items even after the review window.

9.What is not allowed

You must not:

  • Show pre-recorded video as if it were live.
  • Leave a stream idle, pointed at an empty room, or running without you on camera.
  • Stream or post content you did not create or do not have the rights to, including other people’s content.
  • Show anyone under 18, at any time, in any way.
  • Use more than one account, or let anyone else use yours.
  • Use bots, scripts or any other trick to inflate counted time or drops.

If you break these rules, we may void counted items, suspend you from the Program, remove you from it, or close your account under the Terms of Service.

10.Payouts

Counted earnings are a record of what you have earned under these Program Terms. They are not a balance and not tokens, and they cannot be tipped, spent or transferred.

Counted earnings are paid under the payout terms we publish when payouts open. Nothing is paid before your identity and payout details pass our checks, which may include further identity, sanctions and tax checks.

11.Changes, pauses and ending the Program

We may change the rates, limits, budgets or these Program Terms, and we may pause or end the Program, at any time. Changes apply from when we publish them and do not undo anything already counted. When we publish a new version of these Program Terms, counting continues only after you accept it. If we end the Program, anything counted before the end stays counted.

12.Independent creator

You take part as an independent creator. Nothing in the Program makes you our employee, worker, partner or agent, and you decide when, whether and how you create.

13.Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn. We may ask for tax information before paying you, and we may report payments where the law requires it.

14.No exclusivity

You are free to stream, post and sell anywhere else, including at the same time as you broadcast on CamSite.me.

15.Your content

You keep ownership of your content. How CamSite.me may use content you post is covered by the Terms of Service.

16.Language

These Program Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version governs.
